Rare early RHD Home market Super-de-Luxe with super rare BMC approved convertible conversion by Crayford (Officially known as the Crayford Mini Sprint and 1 of just 15 known examples in existence), Built on the 26th October 1964

Originally supplied by Austin Agent Hartwells Limited of Oxford on the 8th April 1965 to a Lady in Botley, Southampton who kept the car until 2014 before passing on its 2nd Sussex based custodian, Ordered in Almond Green with Porcelain Green trim and equipped with a fresh air heater and some lovely super rare period options such as a William Dulles dashboard and SPQR Major change gear lever conversion, Original registration number GBD 490C, Complete with history file including Heritage Trust certificate confirming the correct factory specification present today, Matching numbers, In totally original condition and having been off the road since the late 70’s (Still had the 1978 tax disc in the windscreen !) the Crayford underwent a total nut & bolt photographic restoration completed in 2020 by renowned Mini specialist Tony Ennion at ‘The Ennion Workshop – a project costing circa £50,000 ! Barry Priestman of The Crayford Club was a great resource for accurate information and detail during the restoration
