Dispatched by the factory on the 18th March 1964 and supplied new by Austin Main Agent Botwoods Limited of Ipswich, Suffolk. Registered on the 29th May 1964 and issued with the Ipswich registration number UDX 800

Equipped with Heater, Mota-Lita Wood rim steering wheel, Period webasto sunroof, Hinged rear quarter lights, Jack & handle, Cooper S 4.5 x 10” steel wheels with Chrome caps

Total nut & bolt photographic restoration completed in 2014 by ex Mini 7 racer and his chief mechanic, Much recent expenditure by Phil Annings (Ex Swiftune Chief Engineer) of Annings Race & Restoration to include Engine rebuild, Gearbox re-build, Hi-Lo suspension upgrade and a stainless steel exhaust system

This matching numbers Mk1 Cooper is complete with a provenance file including Original Austin Mini Drivers Handbook, Correspondence from the Cooper Register confirming identity, Correspondence from previous owners, Photos of the restoration and a BMIHT Heritage certificate

UDX 800 was invited and duly participated in the Mini’s 60th birthday celebrations at the 2019 Goodwood Revival which saw some 150 Minis parade around the circuit

This delightful early Cooper has covered just 800 miles since restoration
